2. What we collect
Forms: the fields you enter (company, website, segment, name, role, email, message, competitors, and free-text questions).
Technical: server logs with IP address, user agent and requested URL, retained for 30 days for security; rate-limit counters (a hashed IP address and a hashed email) held for up to 24 hours.
Analytics: none by default. If enabled, we use a privacy-preserving, cookie-free analytics service that does not track individuals across sites; this page will name it.
3. Why, and on what basis
To deliver what you asked for (a Snapshot, a reply), to prevent abuse, and — only with your consent given on the form — to use aggregate, anonymized patterns from Snapshot requests to improve our prompt panel. Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our lawful bases are performance of steps you request before a contract (form replies), legitimate interests (security and rate limiting) and consent (panel improvement). We do not sell or share personal data for advertising.
4. Where it goes
Form submissions are emailed to us via Resend (email delivery provider) and stored in our mailbox; we do not store them in a database on this site. Hosting is on Vercel. Both providers process data in the United States; if you are in the UK or EU, your data is transferred there under the providers' standard contractual clauses. Providers act on our instructions.
5. How long
Form emails: until the request is complete plus 12 months, unless you ask us to delete earlier. Logs: 30 days. Rate-limit counters: 24 hours.
6. Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, objection and portability under applicable law (GDPR/UK GDPR where they apply; US state laws where they apply). Use the contact form.
7. Cookies
None for tracking. A single localStorage key stores your Scorecard progress on your own device; it never leaves your browser.
8. Children
This site is for businesses; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
9. Changes
We will date changes at the top of this page.
